I miss my best friend.  She moved away with her family at the same time mine relocated to Grand Cayman; however, she didn't move back.  It hasn't been until this very moment that I realize I miss her tremendously.  No one I meet is like her.  And why should they be. Out with the Old and in with the Semi-New

Our vehicle just took a pooper and we quickly have to find a new one because a rental car is no way to get around for long.  Nearly $200 for one week.  We knew we were needing a new car, but we didn't expect to have to buy one so quickly.  Luckily, we found financing pretty painlessly.  The first day we went shopping around we came across a Yukon.  Hands down the best deal on the car lot for an SUV; unfortuanately, it wasn't ment to be ours.  Best wishes to the new owners of that beauty.  

Tomorrow, we are off to an early start and some more viewing.  The goal: 2 days

LORD:  let this purchase and experience be guided by You.  THank you for giving us financing.  Please let the right vehicle fall into our laps.  Let the vehicle be used to glorify You and safely transport us wherever you are leading us.  Let our feet always walk in in Your truth and light.  I love you.  It's in Your son's name, Jesus that I pray, AMEN.

Oh my, blogging becomes difficult when life takes 1st place.  It seems I don't have much time for anything as of lately.  Where oh where does the time go?  I hope to share more of what we have been doing soon, but for now I am just saying hello.

Mary Jane Falls

Oh, the Great Outdoors, I love thee.

Two years ago we hiked to Mary Jane Falls in Mt. Charleston, NV.  Our plan was to hike to Big falls but the trail had been covered due to rough weather.  Here are some photos of our experience.

Mary Jane Falls

 Multiple times while we were there, huge chucks of ice came falling down the little waterfall.  Depending on the time of year the waterfall may be bigger or non-existent.  It was a little dangerous to cross sides because of the falling ice.  Watch-Out!
